What we do!

The 404s perform improvised comedy – scenes and sketches made up live and on-the-spot based on audience suggestions. Our shows can be a series of quick sketches based on well-known improv games like “Questions Only”, and “Film and Theatre Styles”, or longer scenes aimed at creating twists on new episodes of popular television, anime, or movies, or both together!

Everything we do starts with the audience, with no scripts or rehearsals. No two shows are ever alike. This also means that each show is presented specifically for each audience, giving you what YOU want to see.
Here's a selection of the kinds of shows we can perform at a fandom event, private engagement, or corporate retreat:
All-Ages "Nerdprov"
Taking our nerdy know-how to make up a comedy show on the spot, using audience suggestions and participation to power the fun in a family-friendly performance!
Late-Nite "Nerdprov"
For events with later evening programming, The 404s can let their hair down (among other things!) for an evening of less restricted hilarity!
The Improv League of Improvisors
It's an improv hockey match! Hosted by a referee, we break into teams to create comedy scenes and the audience votes for the winners!
Improv Workshops and Team-Builders
The 404s present an improvisation workshop for novices and the curious, pulling back the curtain on the secrets of unscripted comedy, for use on stage or in the workplace!
The "Missing Episode" of..?
Taking a fan-favorite TV series, movie, anime, or game, The 404s create a never-aired "missing episode" or sequel, with our own nerdy spin!
Cosplay and Event Hosting
We go to work for our events as MCs for cosplay, opening and closing ceremonies, auctions, and guest panels, keeping the show moving and engaging!
