The 404s added some VOGUE last weekend at Otafest's Yōkai Walk! Next to our storyteller Kyle Mori (with guest-demon props to his son Oliver!), we pantomimed and otherwise added our own improvised flair to classic ghost tales from Japan. It was a spooky-awesome show indeed!

he 404s are COAST TO COAST for our "Summer of Improv" this year, as we roar back into some of our favorite conventions! Starting this month, The 404s are at FOUR anime events in FOUR different cities over FOUR consecutive weekends! Join us first at Anime North in Toronto (July 15-17), followed by Ai-Kon (July 22-24) in Winnipeg, then Anime Revolution in Vancouver (July 29-31), and finishing off in Edmonton with Animethon (August 5-7)! We're pulling out all the stops for our fans, who are salivating for the unscripted comedy they know and love, to highlight their fandom weekend. That's right folks... The 404s are coming to YetiCon!!! We are so excited to bring you a weekend of nerdy improv comedy! This one is notable because it marks the long-awaited return of our Toronto-based cast to action! The Calgary and Edmonton-based casts blazed the trail, but now it’s finally time for the Toronto to take the stage. And we're not done! The 404s will be returning to (counts fingers) FOUR MORE CONVENTIONS this summer! We will be at a convention for FOUR WEEKENDS IN A ROW starting on July 15-17. You know what they say about the best laid plans of mice and men... Due to unforeseen (I mean really, you can't SEE a virus, so...) circumstances, we've had to rework our planned Improv League show for the Anime North Preview event today. In its place we're doing a straight-up shortform comedy show! Join us for an hour of laughs on the AN Twitch channel, tonight! the hits just keep on coming! Hot on the heels of our announcements that The 404s will be appearing at Otafest and YetiCon, we're adding the Anime North Virtual Preshow to our list of events! Anime North is usally at the end of May, but because REASONS, it was moved to July this year. That won't stop them from doing an online event anyway - and we're happy to help with the festivities! We're at Otafest this weekend in Calgary, but ALL our fans will be able to catch us online as we do a one-hour show for everyone. Be sure to tune in at 7pm ET for the fun on May 28!!

It's a return that's a long time coming. After participating in a virtual convention last year, The 404s will be returning to our old stomping grounds and entertaining the otaku at Otafest in Calgary! We'll have three shows ready to go, including an all-ages improv show, the always fun Improv League show where the audience votes for their favorite team, and the return of our most infamous elimination improv show of them all: Last Pants Standing! We're thrilled to be back at Otafest after many years away, and we hope to meet some of our old friends again as well as making a ton of new ones. We'll see you in Calgary on May 21-22!

The Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo was a smashing success! We loved returning in full force with a set of four shows, and we had lots of fun entertaining our fans who've been clamoring for our return for years. And we're not resting on our laurels, oh no! We've got two convention appearances in May: one live, and one virtual. The live one will be announced THIS WEEK on that convention's social medias, and we'll be copying it here. Last weekend's online show "Nontendo Direct", a timely spoof on the famed announcement show from THAT company, was great - and a great way to jump into improv for the team! We improvised new games, pitched ideas for crazy sequels, and ran a couple more through a "speedrun", if you know what games we're talking about.
